I have spent the last few years managing various vacation properties in the Bay Area. The idea for Flaneur, The Vacation Rental Company, came after observing a vast difference in what guests were looking for compared to what they had been receiving.
Property owners have been at a disadvantage as they experience the complicated process of obtaining licensure from Talbot County.
Flaneur, The Vacation Rental Company, plans to close those gaps. Guests will experience concierge service and not just a vacation property. Owners will see their properties being managed with modern marketing concepts and fresh ideas to create profitability. Both will experience pampering and great customer service. Property Owners
Flaneur, The Vacation Rental Company will take on all the necessary tasks involved in preparing the property for its short term lease. As your liaison with the county, we will handle all steps of the application process. This includes attending board meetings, sending out neighborhood notices and scheduling required environmental tests. We will be present at the inspections and do all of the follow up that is involved in obtaining the approval.
We will guide our owner’s expectations of the property. The goal here is to create an unmatched guest experience. We will offer clean, safe, and welcoming properties. Homes will offer various amenities for guests to enjoy. We will identify what makes it stand out amongst the competition. Special touches, things like welcoming baskets, coffee bars, assortments of spices and oils on hand, BBQ areas, upgraded linens, and sundries will be available. Simple, thoughtful details that make your property the obvious choice.
Flaneur, The Vacation Rental Company, will continually challenge itself to market your property seasonally. Offering rates and packages that coincide with the seasons. Our concierge services will offer unique excursions and experiences to highlight these rates. Some examples are:
- Crabbing excursions with Eastern Shore Crab feast done the “local” way.
- Private chefs available to come in and prepare meals.
- Oyster shucking weekends – Guests will learn what makes a great oyster great – they will shuck them right there and then.
We will handle all reservations and customer communications through Flaneur, The Vacation Rental Company’s website and larger platforms such as VRBO. Flaneur, The Vacation Rental Company will manage the guests time on the property, build relationships with our guests, and always reach out for them to return.
We will create a home away from home for your guests. They will be returning time and time, year after year, bringing you income you can count on.
